The Story

“SAFELIGHT XX” This is a classic movie black and white film, re-spooled into 35mm canisters. The film is originally called Kodak 5222 or Kodak Double-X. It is a high-speed, general-use panchromatic black-and-white negative film for both outdoor and studio use. It has a nominal sensitivity of 250 in daylight conditions and 200 under tungsten lighting, and it provides very high sharpness, a broad tonal range, and a fine grain structure.

This film has been hand-spooled by us, recycling our old film canisters from the lab. The film comes to us in large 100meter pancakes, we cut it down to standard 36exp. lengths.
